About Southern State

As a second-generation builder born and raised in Ocala, Florida, our owner grew up in the construction industry and developed a hands-on understanding of what it takes to build quality projects that last. After graduating from the University of South Carolina, where he played baseball and was part of the 2010 National Championship team, he was drafted by the New York Yankees before returning to continue the family construction tradition.

With more than 20 years of building experience, Southern State Construction is built on integrity, communication, accountability, tradesmanship and craftsmanship.
